Exciting action, training for boys, unit program,
help and money for your unit-if you sign up for
"Minutemen of Today."

WHAT IS IT?
What is it? "Minutement of Today" is a tremendous exhibit of the Scouting Program presented in
hundreds of demonstration booths and thrilling act ivity areas, exciting camping displays and unusual
specialty interests by the Cub Scout, Boy Scout and
Explorer Units of Chickasaw Council.
Thousands of people will see this huge show. Your
unit will want to be a part of this giant show,
"Minutemen of Today." Start planning now and
your unit will have 2 months to develop an original
demonstration or activity for this great show.

Here's Why Your Unit Will W ant to Participate
It's a great opportunity for your boys to show
their stuff and to demonstrate skills to parents,
friends, and neighbors! It's wonderful training to
work with a plan and carry it through to the actual
display period! It's program activity for your unit
for the next 2 months.

WHAT WILL THE COUNCIL PROVIDE?
BOOTH AREAS-Provided by the Layout and
Arrangements Committee will be 8' by 8' in size
{64 sq. ft.)-with 4' backs and sides in all buildings
except Arena Building. Extra space can be provided
if your unit signs up early and has its subjects approved. The booths in the Arena Building will be
roped off. If booth larger than 8'x8' is needed
please specify size needed. But keep in mind booths
can only be 8' deep.
The Layout and Arrangements Committee will
provide:
I. Space and walls as described above.
2. Sign indicating booth numbers.
3. One electrical outlet without charge. Special
services will be provided and charged to the

IN CORRECT UNIFORMS to carry on a n ACTION-PACKED demonstration and to explain
the subject to spectators. Use all the boys in
your unit! If adults are required in booths, they

3. PLENTY OF ACTION! We realize that some
sub jects lend themselves to action better than
others. However, remember it's ACTION the
public wa nts to see! This is where good planning
a nd the appl ication of personal ingenuity come
in. All subjects can be "alive" if adequately

Exciting action, training for boys, unit program,

"Minutemen of Today."
WHAT IS IT?
What is it? "Minutement of Today" is a tremendous
exhibit of the Scouting Program presented in
hundreds of demonstration booths and thrilling act
ivity areas, exciting camping displays and unusual
specialty interests by the Cub Scout, Boy Scout and
Explorer Units of Chickasaw Council.
Thousands of people will see this huge show. Your
unit will want to be a part of this giant show,
"Minutemen of Today." Start planning now and
your unit will have 2 months to develop an original
demonstration or activity for this great show.
Here's Why Your Unit Will W a nt to Participate
It's a great opportunity for your boys to show
their stuff and to demonstrate skills to parents,
friends, and neighbors! It's wonderful training to
work with a plan and carry it through to the actual
display period! It's program activity for your unit
for the next 2 months.
WHAT WILL THE COUNCIL PROVIDE?
BOOTH AREAS-Provided by the Layout and
Arrangements Committee will be 8' by 8' in size
{64 sq. ft.)-with 4' backs and sides in all buildings
except Arena Building. Extra space can be provided
if your unit signs up early and has its subjects approved.
The booths in the Arena Building will be
roped off. If booth larger than 8'x8' is needed
please specify size needed. But keep in mind booths
can only be 8' deep.
The Layout and Arrangements Committee will
provide:
I . Space and walls as described above.
2. Sign indicating booth numbers.
3. One electrical outlet without charge. Special

4. Packs, Troops and Explorer Unit s will be assig

must be in proper uniform.
3. PLENTY OF ACTION! We realize that some
su b jects lend themselves to action better than
others. However, remember it's ACTION the
