WORDS FROM THE 1973 LODGE CHIEF _· ' ·-- '
1973 - It has been a very good year. During the past year Chicksah Lodge has
proved itself. In the spirit of Brotl:\erhood tJ.:ie Lpd~~ :}?-as :t;~d~cl,i:cated its elf to , the
principles of the Order of the Arrow.
. . ; ..
The year was marked with successes. During the summer months there became ,a remarkable inc rease in membership as a result of the Brotherhood cer~monies held during
the summer camp.
,_.
·'I' •
But the year was not without its fauJ.ts . Unfortunately the Lodge failed in ser vice projects and the c~p promotion ef.f ort ,was not · strong en,oug:l;l . Hm~·ever, during
the last few months the Lodge has gained the propel:', tolls, that i s interested 1members
and proper equipment, to solve both the problems which the Lodge encounters.

"Not so much for . what you have done as for what you are expected .to do. 11 - this

WORDS FROM THE 1973 LODGE CHIEF _· ' · -- '
1973 - It has been a very good year. During the past year Chicksah Lodge has
proved itself. In the spirit of Brotl:\erhood tJ.:ie Lpd~~ :}?-as :t;~d~cl,i:cated its elf to , the
principles of the Order of the Arrow. . . ; ..
The year was marked with successes. During the summer months there became ,a remarkable
increase in membership as a result of the Brotherhood cer~monies held during
the summer camp. ,_.
I i' , . ·'I' • f"
But the year was not without its fauJ.ts . Unfortunately the Lodge failed in service
projects and the c~p promotion ef.fort ,was not · strong en,oug:l;l . Hm~·ever, during
the last few months the Lodge has gained the propel:', tolls, that i s interested 1members
and proper equipment, to solve both the problems which the Lodge encounters.
. -,
The new officers of the Lodge have a challenge before them. To them I extend my
best wishes that next year wlll be a successful year. 1973.-has beel'l; good, .. but .next
