Fe I I ow Arrowmen,
In case you haven't heard, I'm your new Lodge Chief, Greg Snyder, duly elected and
acknowledged at the Lodge Pow-Wow held about a month ago. <By the way, if you missed
the Pow-Wow, you mfssed the greatest Lodge event this year). Wei I, one can't digress
in time, so don't trouble yourself over missing the Pow-Wow, but, I expect to see
eve ryon e at the Ordeal to be hold Novombor 4 at Camp Currier.
Atso 1 al I Ordeal members(must bo an Ordeal member for at least 10 months) who wish
to rededicate themselves to the ideals of our order should participate in the
Brotherhood being held the same weekend.
In retrospect, I would I ike to thank my supporters for their gracious he lp in electing
me to the office of Lodge Chief. I pledge my serv1CG§ to al I of the brothers
Jn our order and wi I I seek to fulfl I I even your greatest expectatlons - but, the
whole executlve board wi I I need your Support and Participation to make this a great
and respected Lodge again.
Though the Lodge has its own actlvlttes and ls often, seemingly, apart fro m Scouting,
It is indeed an integral part of the overal I Scouting movement. The troop or post
must come first. The Order of the Arrow is essential ty a satel ltte of information
and knowledge that the Arrowman should use to enhance his unit's outdoor experience.
The Order o f the Arrow is also, truly, ''A Thing Of The Spirit'', :::lnd th ere fore,
should be prevalent in cl I Scouting experiences.
I am looking forward to a progressive and prooucttvo yeJr, 1nd,·with ful I Lodge
participation we can make this year an experience not soon to be f o rgotten.
